Terms of use

These terms are an agreement between you and Monneko (“we”). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. Please also read our privacy policy.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Monneko.
• Keep access to your email address, Apple or Google account safe; anyone who can sign in to it can open your Monneko account.
• One account per person. You are responsible for what happens in your account.

What Monneko is, and isn’t

• Monneko helps you keep track of your own money. It is not financial, tax or investment advice, and it doesn’t move money for you.
• Monny uses AI. It can get things wrong, so check its suggestions before you confirm them.
• Trip plans, opening hours and flight information come from other services and can change or be wrong. Check with the airline, hotel or place before you rely on them.
• We work hard to send every reminder on time, but a reminder can be late or fail to arrive, for example when a phone or messaging service is down. Don’t rely on Monneko alone for anything where a missed reminder could cause harm, such as medicine.

Fair use

Please don’t:

• break the law with Monneko, or use it to harm or harass anyone;
• try to get into other people’s accounts or our systems, or overload them;
• copy, scrape or resell the app or its content;
• send content you have no right to share.

If an account breaks these rules, we may pause or close it. Where it is safe and lawful, we will tell you why.

Your content

What you add to Monneko stays yours. You let us store and process it only to run the app for you, as our privacy policy describes.

Price and changes

Monneko is free to use for now. If we ever add paid plans, we will tell you first, and nothing will be charged without your agreement. We may change or stop features over time. If we make a change to these terms that matters, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.

Ending your account

You can stop using Monneko and delete your account at any time.

Liability

We provide Monneko “as is”. To the extent Malaysian law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for losses caused by relying on AI suggestions, trip information or reminders. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 or other laws that cannot be excluded.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
